Intro to Acting for Teens

Introductory course to get you started.  If you are curious how to get involved in the world of acting, this is your opportunity!

Acting Kick Start Workshop

4 hours Find out where the local opportunities lie and how to get involved. Know which agents are legitimate so you don’t waste your money on the scam artists. what is expected when you audition, differences between theater and film acting, where to find audition postings, how to get a commercial agent, what is expected when you are cast in a show

Auditioning Techniques

Finding audition opportunities, monologues for theater, making choices, researching your character, accents

Play Reading Group

A round table readers theater experience for ages 18 and up, classic and modern plays of all genres, all acting levels encouraged to join, wheelchair friendly.

Actor’s Workout

Practice your skills in a fun and supportive environment!  Scenes, monologues, improvisation, Go-Live Re-Acting* (Pre-requisite: Intro course, audition, or submit resume of your experience)

Technical Theater

Props, sets, costumes, lighting. Receive hands on practical experience from Go Live Theater Productions to help build your resume for local theater. This is an on-going group that meets as needed to support performances and shows.
